About the Team

DoorDash is looking for top-talent to play a pivotal role in building our DashPass subscription business. DashPass is DoorDash's fastest growing and highest priority area, meaning you'll influence DoorDash at large. Together we are building the worlds most valuable subscription product to attract & retain DoorDashs most loyal customers.

We are looking for someone to join our team who can work with data to identify opportunities, partner cross-functionally to execute on initiatives, operate at the lowest level of detail, and design creative solutions that drive DashPass growth.

About the Role

The Strategy & Operations Senior Associate, DashPass role is for truth seekers who enjoy solving complex problems, work across the organization, and execute to bring strategies to life.

You will report into our Strategy & Operations Manager, DashPass on our DashPass team in our Strategy & Operations organization. Once our offices reopen, we expect this role to be hybrid with some time in-office and some time remote.

Youre excited about this opportunity because you will

  • Strategize - Develop DoorDash's path to excellence in on-demand delivery, identify trends that emerge and know when to double down and when to try something new.

  • Experiment - Use data to run tests on everything from promotions to product features.

  • Build - You are excited to work on something that hasn't been done before. Your job will include building products and launching plans from the ground up.

  • Analyze - Assess the operational and financial impacts of your decisions and iterate given insights.

  • Collaborate - Work with a variety of teams including operations, product, engineering, finance, analytics and marketing to execute on the plans that were built.

  • Operate - Figure out how to get A to B and then execute on that plan.

  • You are a self starter who is biased towards action and excels in a fast-paced environment and evolving business
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and bring structure, organization, and focus to your work and cross functional teams including product, tech, marketing, finance, and legal
  • You have 3+ years of experience in strategy, operations, product, growth or other related areas
  • You have strong knowledge of SQL, can build financial models using Google Sheets or Excel, and are able to build dashboards to track key metrics
  • You have a BA/BS degree in quantitative or business fields
