About the Team

Our Merchant Services Product Onboarding Team team lies at the heart and soul of DoorDash, ensuring that we set all of our merchants up for success by providing a seamless onboarding experience. As DoorDash grows both in scale and scope of offering, the strength of our onboarding engine must grow with it.

About the Role

Youll partner with our product teams and cross functional partners to execute against the vision, mission, and strategy of product and platform onboarding. You will help guide and implement strategy and lead initiatives to improve the onboarding experience for merchants, and implement onboarding processes for new products and platforms. Youll assist in goal setting to track the success of the team, and be responsible for ensuring quarterly quotas are met, and maintaining daily, weekly and monthly key performance indicators and quality metrics. This role is for someone who is passionate about leading people, obsesses about operational details, and cares deeply about the client experience. You will report into the Director of Merchant Services, New Teams in our Merchant Operations organization. Once our offices reopen, we expect this role to be hybrid with some time in-office and some time remote.

  • Operate as a people manager, and also lead cross functional initiatives to deliver on quarterly goals.
  • Level up our onboarding process with our primary objective in mind to ensure every merchant has a white glove experience.
  • Work with our Product teams to new strategies, as needed, and to create onboarding processes for new products and platforms.
  • Lead high priority product initiatives. Be resilient & adaptable in a fast and ever-changing environment.
  • Advocate and act as the voice of the merchant; utilize your experience to define our roadmap. Use your voice to manage stakeholder expectations, offer alternative solutions, and pivot as necessary.
  • Turn data into meaningful operational improvements by streamlining processes; leverage your excellent stakeholder management skills to get buy-in.

  • 4 year degree is preferred but not required
  • You identify scalable solutions across the business
  • You take quick actions to achieve business objectives
